I took the kids to Liverpool for a few days to explore the museums and to gain some extra education.
We booked into the Premier Inn on Liverpool Lime Street. Which is located next to the station. So it has a very convenient location. If I knew how close it was to the station I could have booked an earlier train to come home.
Check in was 2 or 3pm. We arrived slightly early but our room was already prepared for us. Our room was a family room consisting of a double bed and two single beds. Located on the second floor and right at the very end of a long corridor. It helped my step counter get extra steps in.
The room was spacious enough for us. Especially since everyone had their own beds and space to chill on and around. The double bed was so high off the ground I had to literally climb onto it and climb back down. I am short but a tall person I can imagine it would be perfect for them.
All the staff we encountered were lovely and always helpful. I asked about some of the museums we were going to and was given a detailed map that listed all the attractions and tourist places. Liverpool has so much to see. it reminded me of central London in that many of the places to visit are free and they just ask for a donation.
The Breakfast buffet was ok. I had to request hard friend eggs which was done within minutes. So much choice of hot and cold foods so everyone was able to choose what options they wanted.
If you visit Liverpool this is a good location. There are other hotels around Liverpool Lime street as well.
